Below you can consult all the terms and conditions of the website; please read them carefully before purchasing. Note that by purchasing one of our products you are agreeing to all the terms and conditions described below.

OWNERSHIP TERMS

The Kali Jewellery brand is a nationally registered trademark with the INPI (National Institute of Industrial Property). All jewelry is designed, studied, and constructed by the author, Maria Catarina Fernandes.

Kali Jewellery reserves the copyright and other property rights relating to the products and content in general present on this platform. Therefore, any copying, transfer, or use of any content from this website is not authorized without prior contact and consent.

MATERIALS

All pieces are made of 925 sterling silver or brass with a 925 sterling silver prong. In addition to their original colors, they may have other finishes, namely patinas.

PRICES

The prices of jewelry available in the Kali Jewellery online store include tax at the rate in force in Portugal (VAT of 23%, the rate imposed until now).

Kali Jewellery reserves the right to change the price of items or services and conditions of its online store or to run promotional campaigns at any time.

The prices of Kali Jewellery jewelry in the online store are guided by the RRP (Recommended Retail Price) recommended by the author Maria Catarina Fernandes. This may not correspond to the RRP of other commercial outlets that sell the items; this possible difference is beyond our control and depends on the pricing policies of each commercial space.

QUALITY GUARANTEE

All pieces are made using manual and traditional processes and are handcrafted. Therefore, there may be slight differences between the final piece you will receive and the one shown in the online store photograph. We appreciate your understanding, as this is a handmade product.

ORDERS/PURCHASES

However, you can place an order for anywhere in the world; simply send us an email indicating the product references you wish to purchase and stating your intention to order and purchase. We will respond as soon as possible indicating the next steps for payment and shipping.

STOCK

We strive to ensure that all jewelry presented in the online store is available for quick delivery, 3-5 business days. However, being a small-scale production company with manual processes, there may sometimes be stock shortages and shipping delays. If the item you are ordering is out of stock and a delay in its production is anticipated after you place your order, you will immediately receive a notification from us indicating the delay and providing a new delivery date. We will always be available to resolve any issues and expedite the entire ordering process.

You should receive a notification from CTT (Portuguese postal service) informing you of this situation and the deadline for collection. You must present your Citizen Card along with the CTT notification to collect the order.

If the order is not collected within the indicated period, it will be returned to the workshop, and a new shipment will only be made upon payment of new shipping costs.

We therefore recommend that if you wish to exchange, you keep the order in its original packaging along with the document. Exchanges are only permitted for an item of equal or greater value; in the latter case, the difference must be paid.

If the exchange is due to a defect in the items or an error on our part, Kali Jewellery will cover the shipping costs associated with resending the items.

CERTIFICATION AND AUTHENTICITY

Kali Jewellery is made from various materials, including the precious metal 925 silver. All silver jewelry is certified by the INCM Assay Office (https://www.incm.pt/portal/index.jsp), where the precious metal percentage of the alloy is determined and the legal fineness of the metal is certified. This certification is done by applying the hallmark along with the responsibility mark, manufacturer's mark, or equivalent.

The INCM Assay Office certification process only applies to pieces weighing 2g or more.

If there is any doubt about the authenticity of the certification marks, the buyer can use the services of the Assay Offices to verify the authenticity of the metal.

On the Bank of Portugal's website you can consult the daily quotation of gold, silver, platinum and palladium, in accordance with the provisions of subparagraph a), paragraph 1 and paragraph 2 of article 63.
